2012 JKU Manual Transmission having a tough time starting
2012 JKU manual transmission. Stock except for 3” lift and 35” tires. For a while it would start ok but not great. A couple days ago it wouldn’t start at all. Sometimes it turns over once or twice. Of those times, sometimes will get enough to start very roughly.
Battery is a year old, had it load tested and checked out ok. I jumpered the starter relay and could hear it spin but not sure if it engages (tried removing it but those bolts are stuck).
Next steps? I can try again to remove the starter and get it checked out. Could it be a grounding issue? I’m thinking of getting another ground strap since it isn’t a bad idea anyway.
