My wife drove it once and the windows wouldn't work. Only a few weeks old and maybe 1000 miles. The fuel light was on so she stopped and filled it up. They worked after that, so she thinks that when the low fuel light is on that you can't roll the windows down.

Mine did all kindxs of weird things when I didn't have the window plug all the way in the back of the switches.

Yeah, i'd check your door plug and make sure its plugged in and the red deal has it locked. My harness is right by my feet and its easy to get unplugged.

Happened one time to me a few months after getting my new 2012. None of the windows would work. Turned the jeep off then restarted and everything was fine. Never happened again and I now have over 35,000 miles on it.

I believe the can bus gets confused at times. If had my a/c cut out completely one time while it was full blast. My low fuel light was on as well, my radio was full blast, both windows were down, and my blinker was on.

How do I remember all that you may ask? Because I thought about every possible scenario. The only thing I could think of is that, when all that was going on, my wheel had just turned to full lock. You know when you turn the wheel to full lock the rpms drop. Well maybe the voltage dropping a little lower than normal threw it off. Who knows. I don't care since its not normal and hasn't happened in a long time.

Add me to the list of having only the front windows not working and once I shut off the Jeep and started it back up, problem gone.
