2012 Rubicon electric sway bar motor
So I managed to smash my electric sway bar disconnect housing on some rocks, and now my sway bars won't reconnect. I am going to install a manual disconnect of some kind (The EVO one looks nice) but it looks like it still requires some of the factory electric setup. Should I replace my sway bar with a solid bar and get a different manual disconnect or is it maybe possible to tear the electric motor off and manually reconnect the bar, weld it, and put on a manual system?
Hopefully this isn't too confusing....
Thanks!

I would take it apart to see if the reason it won't reconnect is electrical or mechanical.
If electrical, just install the EVO knob.
If mechanical, replace the whole works with a regular bar and disconnect links.
