Default 2013 JKUR rushing water sound

New guy here. I got a JKUR and I hear a distinctive sloshing water sound on the passenger side of the Jeep. Fuel level is not a factor. What should I do? What can I look at?

Do you have a hard top? Cant tell on phone app. Is the sound up high? If so the freedom panel might have water in it. My 09 does it. I spray it with scotch guard and that seems to work.

I'm on my 5th JK since 07 and they've all had that. Never has been an issue.

If it's not the hardtop and sounds as though it's coming from behind the dash then try burping the radiator. Has worked for me and many others.

Many on here have described the sound of air in the cooling system as a rushing water sound on the passenger side (where the heater core is located) but only during startup. If it is happening all the time it could still be air in the coolant system but I’ve never seen anyone describe that symptom.

I’d second jaydoc’s advice to start.

Just picked up my brand new 2013 JKUR last night started it up this morning cold and it did exactly what you described. Quick water rushing type sound then it was gone. I figure if it doesn't cause the vehicle to over heat of throw a mil then its probably not a big deal.

lol none of you must have owned a LR Discovery. If whooshing is coming from the dash area or from the footwell or whatever it has to do with the radiator system. Very common problem in the land rovers and very easy to fix.

Yep I did have a Disco and that's how I knew to burp the radiator.

I have the same issue in my 2013 JKUR. How does on "burp" the radiator?
