must be all the ethanol... now that I think about it,, and for those that say ... "its a jeep don't cry " let me tell you... this is not my first jeep... its my 6th.
if you don't want to read and comment ,,keep out .
what I did realized Is that I switched gas stations since my last JK. I will go to exxon and start from there to compare..
anyways I did not know winter gas is different,, that's new to me.

I have a 2014 4 door with auto and 4.10's and am running 34" tires. I am getting slightly less mpg then I did when it had the stock tires but it looks better. Winter blend fuel is a killer on mpg. I however still am getting 15-16mpg around town and back and forth to work. On the highway at steady 65-70mph I get better. Don't make the mistake and get too small of tires. Look at 34 or 35's anyway.
I know what you mean.
I have your same tires in my list.

My mostly stock 11' JKUR averages about 13-14 mpg; that's in mostly city/ some highway driving. Part of being a great off road vehicle is having the ability to travel longer distances, I hope the next design Wrangler gets much better gas mileage or I probably will move on.

same here get about 18 or 19 mpg
highway 19 /20 with heavy 33 nitto trail grapplers 87lbs each they are 31 /3/4 actual height 285s 4.10 gearing
dont think the post that said dont go to small of a tire holds water on high elevation hills i get 15mpg 14 on a big hill
every year has thier issues i hear a lot of 14s not doing well with gas ????? so id say about the same as this guys statement >
when i had my stock rubicon tires on i was getting 21 22 highway some times 23 on a straight road no winds thats if you believe the gauge lol i think they are all in the ball park but not accurate by any means in the big picture ( you have to hand calculate ) filling tank and taking mileage then you can

I am getting 14-15MPG doing 80mph on the highway plus around town with my 13 JKU 3.73 auto with Heavy bumper + winch, 2.5" lift, and 285/70r17 (33s) duratracs. I did get 17mpg over the weekend keeping it under 70 and doing lots of back roads. I think 13mpg is quite low. I was getting 16-19 stock then with 33s I was getting 14.5-17mpg. I think I drive to fast.
The comments about its a Jeep why care about MPG, well it cuts into the mod funds plain and simple. I am not going to put an intake and exhaust to increase mpg, but if I am starting at 13mpg what happens when I start building.

Mines is 11mpg with exhaust and 305/55/20= 33.5 tires and atock gears 4.10s
Im from philippines and thats city driving with stop and go....
Just bought a used rubi last month with 15,000 miles =24-25,000 km on it
I ordered a flashpaq, cai, jet performance chip and a 5.13 gears
Hope this will all enough to give me a good mpg since my rig is heavy.... 20rim with mud tires +aev bumper and big winch hope 5.13 is enough for torque city driving
Since philippines dont sell aftermarket
So limited i ordered everything from US

Agreed. Always have owned full size pickups or SUV's in addition to the fun vehicle. Never thought about what it costs to fill up. I just do it because I need to do it.

some of you dont care about burning gas only a fool but dont trash those that do!
some of us do ! its like you might like chrome all over your blingy jeep some people dont ! plain and simple dont tell people to buy a prius and go away this is a forum where people like to discus things about the jeep maybe fuel consumption dosent interest you then you should go away not tell others that are concerned and are trying to rectify a problem before adding stuff and getting 4 mpg
yeh we gas it up like it or not but this guy might have a problem getting 13 stock (no need to insult and scram ) he wanted input on what others are getting with similar set up . somewhat stock this answer isnt gonna help anyone

I have a 2013 with 4.88s and 37s and do better than that on winter gas. Although, I have a 2 door manual.
Toss some 37s on and 13mpg will sound decent!
It is odd that there appears to be a small group of people who get poor gas mileage with new JKs. I see a post on it at least once a month.
You should trade for a week with someone. At least eliminate the driver as the variable.
