My 2012 JKUR has recently started sounding the horn when I press the LOCK button on the remote only once. Normally it only honks after I press the lock button twice. I checked the settings on the dash but I only see "RKE lock doors horn ON" and "RKE lock doors horn OFF". So looks like I only have the options of turning the horn either on or off.

So I can turn the horn off completely... but then sometimes I do like to know that it's actually locked by pressing the remote lock button twice and hearing the horn honk.

Has anyone else had this problem??? Any ideas??

Why are you pressing it twice? Only one push is needed to lock and sound the horn. You are hearing it twice because you are pushing it twice.

Never heard of that. You can use the door lock button on the door itself. The Alarm will arm just as if you used the FOB but no honk. You'll see the RED LED on the dash blinking while its arming.

Go to the electrical page. You can then all of that on and off yourself using the remote with the right patterns. Did mine. Easy to do

Where did you pick up a 2912 JKUR?! I figured the would have changed the model by then. Can we get some pics of this new futuristic Jeep? Does it hover?
