Default 33" duratrac on stock rear carrier?

As anyone put a 275/70r18 with a sahara rim on a stock tire carrier? Were there any weight/damage/size issues? Lots of prior threads include people telling what they have done with their tires, I'm not interested in that info. Just want to know the answer to these questions. Thanks.

I have had mine for 2 years and have had no on-road or off-road issues with it. No problems at all.

33" tires will be absolutely fine on the stock carrier. Promise! The culprit that causes the "bobbling" on the stock carrier/tailgate is the wheel backspacing. Stock (6.75") to 4.5" backspacing will not cause the "bobbling" of the stock carrier/tailgate, especially with Daystar tailgate bumpstops. BUT if your wheels are 4" or 3.75" of backspacing, even with Daystar's extended tailgate bumpstops, you will get the "bobbling."

It will hold up fine. I ran the same setup for about a year and now I still have the same size tire except mounted on the rockstar. My issue with the stock rim and 33" duratrac was that the tire rubbed on my bumper. I had a 1/4" plate of aluminum hanging around so I cut three holes for the lugs to pass threw and mounted it, using it as a spacer which gave me the Clarence I needed
