My wife's 2 door has 33" tires & 3.73 gears and it requires a downshift to 3rd on the climbs out of Denver. When up higher in altitude like the Eisenhower Tunnel I have to wind the hell out of it in 3rd to maintain the speed limit. The altitude out here kills these V6 engines!

Thanks for that response! An example is sooo much better than, "they're fine". Taking the time to give a real world example, even a short one, goes a long way to giving a person with a question a realistic idea of what to expect. I'm beginning to think that the majority of 35" are fine with 3.21s are coming from users who drive back and forth to the Galleria, based on the lack of substance in their responses. Again, thanks!

That was your response to a similar thread started by someone else not long ago..... Real specific! You have come to this thread and criticized others for not having any substance to their posts?? I really do appreciate you doing that, but you don't have to be smart. Matter of fact, I don't see a post in this thread where you have offered any advice to the original poster, specific or not. I do not drive my Jeep "back and forth to the "Galleria"". My jeep has probably been on the trail with 9,000 miles more times than most others ever get it out. I also do daily drive it and I am ok with the 3.21s for now. Please see my other post above for the "specifics." Am[/QUOTE]

It's a 2012. We lose about 15% of our horsepower here at 5280 feet and it gets worse from there.
