Default 33s with no lift

Can you run 33s on a jeep jk with no lift on stock wheels or do i need to get wheels with a different amount of backspacing I know a guy that's running 33s with no lift but his wheels have 3.75 backspacing and the stock wheels are 4.7 or something

I've been running 285's (32.8") for years, no problems, no rubbing. MUST run 1.5" spacers, checkout Spidertrax Off Road.

Ran them with no problems, as well.

The need for spacers depends on width for 33's.

This is correct. There are a number of threads on here that discuss this topic. I would suggest searching for tire specifics.

Running a "true" 33" tire (255/85 KM2) on the stock 16" steel wheels, I have no problems lock to lock with rubbing.

ID:	503331 the trail grapplers give it a better stance however the stock ones are better for gas milage so with gas prices high I use the stockers lol

The stock Jeep wheels have a backspace of 6", not 4.7". You can run 33's on your stock Jeep depending on the width of tire you buy (10/11/12.5). Your best bet would be to install some quality 1.5" wheel spacers (which changes your backspace to 4.5") and you won't have to trim anything. Spidertrax or G2's are hubcentric and are a great buy, stay away from 1.25" spacers unless you want to cut off the ends of your lug nuts.
