Manufacture date of 07/08, 2100 miles on my six speed...really is not broken in yet, but no probs so far.

 

07 here to and again mine was a july build and no issues w/my clutch or tranny.

 

mine clanks every once and a while but no real issues yet

 

I have the clutch clank as well. See a poll I started in another thread. The clutch clank seems to be very common.

That being said, the 42RLE is a flaming peice of poop. So I'd take a squeeking, squealing, clanking 6 speed over the 42RLE any day. Now if the 45RFE were offered, that'd be a different story.

Built early 2008, delivered Feb 08, no problems. 16000 km.

 

No problems yet and love to drive it!

 

Bought my 08 Sahara in January of 08 and no problems with the manual at all. From what I see and hear on this board though, even if there are problems with the manual, its still not as bad as the automatics that are known to catch on fire.

 

2008 with 10k miles and no problemos.

I have a squeek now and then, but think it is the heat sheild as another member had and fixed by "adjusting" the sheild
