7,000 miles on my '08 and no problems at all. In fact, I like this tranny WAY better than the NV3550 in my '03 Rubicon. That thing may have been tough, but it sounded like it was full of gravel and felt like driving an old milk truck compared to the JK.

I have an '08 6 speed X with 27,000 miles so far and, other than clutch clank, I haven't had any drivetrain problems.

I had a squeeking sound, I was not sure if it was the trans or the suspension or what. It would squeek every time I shifted and when I let on and off the throttle. I brought it in to the dealer this morning and got it back a few minutes ago. There was a TSB on the clutch, so they installed a new clutch for me. I took it for a ride and all seems fixed! Now I have a new clutch at just under 19k, sweet.

'07, April build, iirc, 14k miles, and no drivetrain issues. In fact, the only issue I've ever had/still have is the leaking soft top at the passenger door handle.
