6spd transmission TSB?
I was just reading in another section has anyone heard anything about this?

IMHO, they've had a TSB on the 6-speed manual tranny and really need to resolve that problem at the factory before sending out anymore. It must really hurt D-C to replace a couple of washers and spacers on each 6-speed built! I've had my Jeep all of 10 days and it's in the shop for this fix as we speak.
Keep up the faith brothers! It really is worth the wait!

Mine does this too. It was fine at the dealer and when I drove 75 miles home it started. Its louder now after about 250 miles. I just fear the fix may be worse than the problem. The tranny shifts fine now. If those monkeys take it all apart it may make things worse. I can't hear the noise when I am driving and I don't let it sit and Idle while I stand outside talking so it really does not bother me that much. If it gets terrable then I may let them muck with it.

Gentlemen, please listen up. . . .I had my Sahara in for the throw-out TSB repair this week. It took 2.5 days instead of the 1 necessary. My dealership had to "cut" off bolts to remove the exhaust to get to the tranny to perform the service. Ok, I can understand that. But, when I picked it up on Friday, the "check engine" light was on. After checking the computer code reader, it turns out that the tech melted my O2 sensor wires on the replaced exhaust system!! SIX days later, it's FINALLY ready!!
Be forewarned that you make sure these so-called factory-trained techs know what the H@#l they're doing BEFORE you schedule your work.

I got my Sahara back and the dealership performed the proper repair on the throw-out TSB. However, putting me out for 6 days, they only credited me the damage waiver on the rental car (a crappy PT Cruiser; no offense to people who own one), and gave me a free oil change (whoopity S%$#)!
Well, my Jeep runs great and It'll NEVER be back to that dealership again!
If ya'll have to have yours repaired, watch your dealers service dept. like a hawk.
