Cool 8 Speakers ?

Hey you Guys,

Yesterday I picked up my 2015 JKUR. The window sticker says the 430N sound system has eight speakers. I can only find six, and in the usual locations. The sales folks, service manager, et.al. can't find speakers 7 and 8 either. Anyone know where they might be? Thanks

2 in the front lower dash, 2 tweeters on top of the dash, 2 above on the over-head speaker bar, and then there's the subwoofer in the back. That's 7 right there......at least that's how it's setup in mine 2012 2-door.

8 or 9 speaker on the 2015. 9th speaker is the sub. I believe there are tweeters in the sound bar as well.

Edit: from the jeep catalog, they are in the sound bar.

Cool Odd man out.

There is no sub-woofer in this 2015 430N lash-up. I still can't find additional stand alone tweeters in the sound bar, or anywhere else. Keep looking, they have to be there someplace. I might add that this system is not as good as the infinity + sub-woofer system I had in the Sahara.

They are in the rear of the console. Took me a while to find them too.

Cool Found 'em !

Cls2rpb was correct. There are two "tiny tweeters" one on either side of the rear power window switches. "How small are they?" They are so small that a nickel will cover the opening. I would have never seen them on my own. They must have stolen the idea from a set of head phones. But, still no sub.

I do not know what you guys are seeing, but that is not the speakers. They're 2 tweeter in the sound bar. I had seen this on Jeeps' website somewhere prior, but couldn't find it today. Found it on another site though. 2x 6.5" and 2x 3.5" speakers in sound bar, 2x 3.5" speakers on upper dash, 2x 6.5" speakers in lower dash. A 3" speaker is not going to have a vent the size of a nickel; it would block a lot of the effectiveness of the speaker.

From the pic that spicoli posted it looks like they're right next to the other speakers.

Cool Yes, I can count . . . .

But, I only have two on the sound bar, each measures 9.5" X 9.5" with a slight rounding of the edges.
This shouldn't be that difficult.
