I requested a build sheet from jeep. I got it, and it said there's 8 speakers. Where?! I count six! 2 tweeters, 2 up front 2 in sound bar.
I'm at a loss.

 

Pretty sure there's 4 in the sound bar. Remove the covers and there's another pair in there. At least that is what I read.

 

Not seeing any speakers in the doors, good thing too, that whole speaker wire disconnect thing would be like totally confusing when taking off the doors...

 

There is not 4 in the soundbar. I replaced my speakers with kickers. I stuffed soundbar with polyfil.
There are only 6 speakers. 7 if you count the sub, but I don't have a sub. My build sheet says 8

 

Does the build sheet state what radio option you have?
I know the alpine radio comes with a 9 speaker option.

 

Then I'm guessing the stock ones in the soundbar were two way with little tweeters or mids in the center?

 

9 speaker Alpine has 4 in the dash, 4 in the soundbar, and a sub.

 

I had the 130. There was the 2 tweeters, 2 below the dash, and two in the soundbar. And I think the speakers weren't 2 way. So one speaker doesn't count as two.
I'm at a loss. Ill include a screenshot of the buildsheet.
I guess its not important....but it just bugs me why they say 8 speakers, when my jeep only had 6
