The sound stops if I press the clutch in

yeah something is not right. either a part was re used during install that shouldn't have been or something else? Do you ever drive with your foot resting on the clutch, even ever so slightly? Aka"riding the clutch"? That's the only thing I could think of besides an inproper install that would give you these symptoms so soon after having everything re built.

No I always keep my foot off the clutch.. Unless I'm shifting! I'm reall particular in how I drive it. I also alway keep my hand of the shifter unless I'm shifting (I've heard excess pressure on the shifter can wear the syncros?). But yea I'm very carefully in how I drive it. I baby this thing and it's falling apart!

I don't know the manual transmission on the jeep, but is there an adjustment for the hydraulic clutch. What I was thinking is either adjust the clutch all the way out or remove the rod to the clutch fork. This way the throw out bearing isn' t touching anything. Then check for the sound. You can then manually push the clutch fork in for sound. If this isn't the case then I suspect you could have a bearing on the main shaft bad. I've heard the clicking like that when the race was bad.
