Default ABS and traction Control issues

ABS and traction control lights won't turn off. When I first start my jeep and hit the gas it feels like the brakes are locked up is anybody else experienced this at all?

The lift has been on for a while and never had any problems. And now just last night the hill assist light has come in and wont turn off. Now my jeep is struggling to go forward and sporatically lunges forward in short bursts. Wtf?!?

Did you check the brakes to see if they are actually engaged or sticking? I just had to replace another caliper on my 08 that had seized up.

The dash lights sound like the symptoms of a bad wheel speed sensor. I replaced the rear passenger sensor a few months ago. Install was a breeze and the part only cost $20.

Good luck!

Yes, how? My 2012 Rubi has been sitting about a week. Started it Wednesday and abs and traction light won't go off. Also cruise control won't turn on. No hill assist light yet.

Default How to tell which sensor is bad?

Hi:
I had this issue with my 2008 Wrangler X last fall. Took it to a local garage that has a high end reader. Connected to the odb link. Drove about 20 feet, showed a signal from 3 wheel speed sensors, no signal from the driver's side rear wheel. Replaced that sensor, lights went off driving about 50 feet. Cost of diagnosis, $50.00. Worth it to me to be able to just quickly fix just the broken component.

Good luck!
