Default Affordable Replacement Key w/fob

Anyone have any leads on a good replacement key with the fob? Only one came with my 2013 and I need a spare. I see a few options in the $150+ range but wanted to check here to see if anyone found better options.

The problem is that with only 1 key, you're not going to be able to program the chip in anything you purchase. There are inexpensive keys on eBay that work, but without 2 keys you'll have to go to a locksmith and pay a stupid amount for them to deal with the chip. I've been down that road with a couple salvaged title cars I've purchased and it always sux.

I bought the key in this thread just to try things out and have a 3rd spare. I can attest that it works.

I've seen others that bought a more traditional replica key off eBay and they worked too. I have myself purchased a couple Ford keys off eBay that DID NOT work.....for whatever reason the car just wouldn't accept the chips.

I've never been able to program another key myself but I also got the key from amazon for $25 so I could have got a bad one.

I went to a local place by me and talked the guy down to $80 for a new key programmed when I got my new battery. It was at "batteries plus bulbs" store here in so cal. Go find a small local shop and get like 3 made for the price of 1 at the dealer. Otherwise you gotta play the key dance which in my case didn't work.
