Default Android code reader

I have an Android phone and I see there are various apps available to read codes and generally see what's going on in the computer via the OBDii port. These require bluetooth things to plug into the port. I'm wondering what other people have had good or bad luck with because there is a large swing in price between Chinese things on E-bay and more mainstream stuff on Amazon. I'd also be interested to hear what apps people like.

What hardware did you buy for the interface?

I couldn't tell you definitively if its accurate or not because I have nothing to compare it to although I have no reason to believe its not accurate. I bought it to monitor trans temp which unfortunately isn't working with the jk yet. Iv been bugging the developer to add support (its frequently updated). Otherwise it supports many features which I have yet to explore. I got a cheap Bluetooth obd adapter on eBay for $30 and it works well. Let me know if you have any other questions.

You might check out this video that a forum member made a while back ...

youtube.com/watch?v=OCZyxrS_ixY

I will add that the data it's reporting should be calculated by the Jeep, not by the app. The app is just displaying data that exists on the OBD. So, any question about accuracy is directed more at the Jeep engineers than at the app developers. I know, that probably doesn't increase your confidence, does it?
