There is a fix in the write up section, basically just add weatherstripping to the door surround

Default lemon law

after 3 attempts to repair you can pursue the lemon law. i had a 2007 that leaked like a sib, took it in 4 times and then pursued the lemon law.

was a pain in the ars, but 4 months later i had a brand new 2008 jeep custom built with everything i wanted on it and - best of all - no leaks!

No leaks on either of my tops...soft or hard. Did you make sure that the top was tucked in on both sides? I would say double check it all and see if it helps. I would maybe expect a drip or two, but if you see the same thing on both sides I would think something not on right?!

Same here. My soft top looked funny over the doors and it turned out I didn't have the seal tucked in properly. Tucked it in, no problem. It's been raining here for three straight days now and no leak. until I open the door. I get one splash on the edge of the door when I open it. No leaks on the highway or anything. I've taken the freedom top through the drive through carwash a few times and there are no leaks there either. Maybe I just got lucky?

I have a 2010 JK Unlimited and previously had a 93' YJ. Nither of my tops had leaks. One thing I do with my JK is when I put the top up, is set the header on the windshield before I attach the sail panels to the body of the jeep. (Do not latch it.) Then I reach up by the sport bar and pull the soft top bow assembly forward as much as I can to make sure the top is as far forward on the jeep as possible. Then lift the header up a few inches and pull it down again. This will re-seal the windshield now that the top is farther forward. That's when I latch the top and go to the rear of the jeep and tuck in the sail panels. I've been trough a pretty rainy spring so far and not had any problems.

A "jeep thing" is getting stuck in a sudden downpour with the top down, but for what Jeep gets for the new JK's, I expect it to be dry when the top is up.

Cheers

Dealership just replaced my two year old top for the seams leaking. New one is better but the water pools on drivers side. If you open the door with water on the top it goes into the seat.

There are plenty of reasons to leak. I have a dealer trip planed for tomorrow myself for my top and idle issue. Top looks like i have driven it in water up to the doors. Every thing is green around the tuck rails. Pretty nasty. I took all carpet out and cleaned it. Let the rain wash all the stuff out the tub. Tops back up but got a nice smell and a humid feel when you get in. I know it from the rear window area. Already replaced foam tape
