No vids, but before I upgraded to my current tires I spun mine. It wasn't huge, but it definitely made some noise

Accidentally laid a patch last weekend when pulling out of a side road that had a steep incline up to the main road. Tried to beat traffic, lost traction on sand and made a hell of a racket and a bunch of dust. Couldn't ease the throttle or I would have got rear ended so it kept up for 50 - 60 feet. My kid thought it was plenty cool though.

the 3.8L can lay a strip? from the way everyone is talking, when mine comes in i'd be better off cutting out the floor and going flintstone style.

come on the 3.8 isn't that bad. i dont know in auto but in manual you can get a cool start. i think its quite enough for a 2 door that weighs 1.5 ton. don't know about the 4 door though.

Oh I would'nt call it laying a strip. It'll make some noise, I don't think mine's ever spun enough to leave marks. I have to have the presence of mind to turn off ESP even to achieve these modest results.

Why would we want to do that?
