Anyone ever fold the windshield down?
I doubt I will ever fold my windshield down, but its kind of cool knowing its possible.
Anyone here ever use this "feature" on their jk? Is so, care to share what it was like and especially any pics to share?

Yep, plenty of threads with pics here.
Basically it's a major PITA as Chrysler made it as difficult as possible to do (removing loads of torx screws, dismantling part of the roll cage, removing wipers, trim panels, etc so only the brave or patient will attempt it), while still retaining the Wrangler's ability on paper to have the windshield fold down (thus retaining the "Jeep heritage", having "cool" looking exposed hinges on the windshield frame and cowl) and setting it apart from every other road-going 4X4 currently on sale.
Here's a few assorted links to threads from this forum:

When I had my '89 YJ I did it... once. Even then it was a major PIA requiring dis-assembly of the roll cage and the hinge paint got all screwed up. I would not attempt in a JK unless you are going on permanent safari.
This is coming from someone who takes the doors off the JK anytime the weather says it's not going to rain for at least 48 hours. The YJ doors stayed off all summer.

Miss the days of my 1984 CJ7. Literally two screw knobs and a strap to secure to the hood. Took about 5 minutes. I will say even though it was very easy to do, wans't all that great on the trail unless you were the first in line. Water crossings are great but that's about it.
