Just wondering what the average life of the stock brake pads is. I have 14,500 on my baby and they seem fine for now.

...another question along the same line. Will bigger tires cause the brakes to wear quicker? My mind says yes but I don't have experience with it.

i would say 75000 miles before you would need brakes. i don t think the bigger tires will cause much more wear, but it is very possible. i ve seen cars go 100000 to 125000 before they need pads.

** when you do need brakes it is worth getting the gold or premium pads with the lifetime warranty.

Since I used to work in Auto parts I would have to say about 50k is average. Some less some more. Depends on Vehicle and driving style. I am at 33k and mine will need replaced in another couple of months.
