Anyone have these probs with their JK??
We bough our 09 JK new last aug... Got 32's Lift, winch, and some interior items we have added. I keep finding the carpet wet under the driver's seat and now I noticed that the front passenger seat frame has surface rust on it....Jeep has less that 10,000 miles on it.. It is a soft top, but Have had no leaks even with all the weather we have had in Atlanta area....
Just wondering if anyone else has had these issues... I am going to ask the dealer to just get me another set of seats for replcement....Im going to look under the body on the drivers side, to see If ther is an opening of some kind.
Still LOVE the JEEP---Wish I had 2!!!

My driver door is a bit harder to close than the rest. The tape on the stricker fix actually helped the situation, but twice when I took it to the car wash (no rain in Aug) the attendant didn't close the door all the way and it got wet under the driver's seat. I didn't notice for a week.
Maybe the same thing happened with the heavy rain a couple of times.

I have had the same problem. It appears the dealer has fixed it. The leak was coming down the B-pillar where you couldn't see it. When it rained really hard I would find a wet seat belt strap when it was pulled out all the way (bottom end wet). Not sure what the final fix was really they did all sorts of stuff to try and I am not 100% sure it is truely fixed. One thing they did do was re-allign the window handles because they said that the vibration of driving was causing them to open slightly. Turns out this was a very small part of it.
I had this problem. Does your rear window washer spray fluid?
There is a line to the rear window washer runs under the driver seat near. I had a coupler that was not connected properly. Every time I tried to wash the rear window, I soaked my carpet. Check it out. The tub plug is another place to check while carpet is pulled. Good Luck.

I've always had a wet drivers carpet, and i think i just figured out why. I'm usually the only one in my jeep. i have the rubber floor mats that aren't as deep as some of the nicer ones ( i have the jeep rock pattern ones from quadratec). I think water drips in heavily during rain (which we've had ALOT of lately, a storm with 80 mph winds and 6.5 inches of rain) and the water drips UNDER the rubber mats, and never has a chance to dry out. the wet/dry line is EXACT with the outline of the rubber mat. looks like im going back to the carpets!!! the reason i know it can't be a chronic problem that happens from a leak, is because there is no rust under there. also checked my tub plug and its nice n tight.

I had the same problem with it happening a couple of times for no apparent reason. I did pull the carpets out but I really wish I knew where the water was coming from. I have a hard top and I to had to pull the carpet out because of all of the water it held.
