Had problem with my 08 Unlimited with carpets getting wet.
1. Header seal was leaking down A pillar behind plastic coverings and behind dash.
2. Door seals at bottom edge where it meets sill plate would let water in an soak carpets.
Jeep changed door and header seals. So far so good.

we have the surface rust on the seat frames, but water leaks. the rust is on the hinges of the seat where the back meets the bottom.

I have the same problem. What I did was just start hanging "DampRid" the kind you hang in closets to remove moisture and it seems to work. I'm gonna check the plugs this weekend and I'll have to keep checking as it will go back to the dealer for a fix if it is actually there.

I just picked up my 07 Unlimited Rubicon several weeks ago, and found my front carpets wet the other day when it rained. I took out the carpets to check the plugs...they seemed fine. Now that I found this info from you guys, I know what else to look for.

I am new to this forum, but not new to Jeep/4x4 forums. I will be spending a little more time here.

Thanks for the info,

Dan
