Anyone know
It is truely going to vary by dealership. Some are very mod friendly and others void warranties if you even look at a quadratec catalogue. Your best bet is to ask around and find a dealership that doesn't mind and go to them after you start your mods.
ALso, the dealer is supposed to honor your warranty unless they can prove that your mod was the cause of the problem that you brought your jeep in for. (I know, it doesn't always work like that but it gives me hope)
I second the comment above... It's "supposed" to be anything that causes undue stress or is found to be the cause of a failure with your jeep.
IE: you run oversized tires, and you find you have the need for an early front-end alignment = no go.
or, conversely, you run oversized tires and your window crank breaks... That's covered.

I asked my dealership. They said they go by what Chrysler recommends on the issue of modifications... "Any modification or aftermarket component that is the direct result or cause of the failure of a Mopar part will void your warranty on those failed components." Not necessarily in those exact words, but that is the gist of it.
Why does everyone say that it depends on the dealership? No it doesn't.

Chrysler/Dealerships CANNOT void your warranty unless the aftermarket part you installed caused the defect. Even then they can only void the warranty on that specific part/system of the vehicle that is in question.
The dealer cannot void your warranty on a whim. If they do. Lawyer up.
