At least 50% of the members on here are doing this or have done this at one time. Your factory suspension will not be able to properly handle the added weight and will sag. Most will add a 2.5" lift, progressive springs (AEV, OME, RK) will help to handle the added weight while keeping the proper lift height.

I have a bestop high access front bumper and warn xd9000 with just the leveling kit and stock everything else. Now running same thing with cut fenders and 35s.

It works just fine. Would a real lift be better? Yes, but you'll manage.

thanks patman, I will be upgrading to new springs in a while, but I want to spend the money on the new bumpers, wheels and tires first as my jeep rides really good with my setup now. I have been shopping around for lifts and have been going back and forth. I may just buy a set of teraflex 1.5 springs, and then lift then rest of the way with my leveling kit or maybe the tf spring leveling kit is enough. just want to keep the stance I have now.

I have a stock Rubicon and I changed my bumpers and added a winch and the Jeep has no sag. You may experience issues if you have a stock Wrangler.

These two kits can be added together, but only when you have all of the correct parts. You'll need:
-brake line extensions
-shock extensions (advised)
-front and rear extended bumpstops
-track bar relocation brackets
-wheels with a back spacing of 4.75" (+/-.5)
-going that high will throw off your caster (ca's advised)

Don't forget a Procal for the new tire size!

in response to op I have a Mw3 that came with the AEV front and rear bumpers...I am not sure if there were upgraded shocks or springs from the factory ( I doubt it)but I also installed a Talon super winch and I have not added any lift or tires and don't see the need to. It seems pretty much the same albeit the slight rake which I do not have a problem with.

mine came with heaiver springs than alot of rubis, so im fine in that dept. i have 18/59's. I would'nt use the spacers in my spring lift unless I had to just to get it to sit where it is now.

I also have monroe reflex mono's on it, works great. Im going to get the bumpers and winch, mount them up, ride for a bit and see how she sits. I already have wheel spacers and 33's/285s.

I just put a new Warn bumper that weighted 94lbs. with a 8500lb winch that weights 91lbs. it didn't cause a noticeable sag but it rides better now.

I ran a RR XHD front bumper with hoop and full width ends, along with a Warn 9.5 CTi-s winch. front suspension sagged about 7/8 of an inch or so. I upgraded from a 14 spring to a 16 spring and it put it back to stock height and the stiffer spring rate handled the weight much better. Then after a few long camping/wheeling trips I found the stock 57 rear springs were not handling the load and even with the factory rake after being loaded, the rear was sagged below the front....didn't like the way it looked or handled. so i then added a rear set of 59 springs. works great. after running it like that for a year or so, i added the Daystar 1.75 inch BB and Scorpion shocks. I like it even better now. HTH.....also this is on a 2 door Rubi. YMMV....
