anyone want to buy my jeep??
I know I can't really post it here here for sale so this is a joke. But if anybody wants it;
It's a 2011 blue, 2 dr. It has all your basic jeep problems. At 42,000 the throwout bearing is very noisy and almost ready to seize up. If you go on a long trip make sure you take some oil with you. Every gas fill up check it, may need up to 1/2qt or more. It sounds like i'm killing baby birds evertime i press in the cluch. The brake pedal sounds like i'm killing something but just haven't figured out what animal yet. My starter just started making a strange noise at start up. So thats probably slowly grinding away the flywheel. I have to beat on the steering wheel to turn the channels on the radio. And a few other things I'll let you figure out.
This great deal has never been offroad, always polished and I even pulled the carpets when I first got it just because I do a lot of digging at work. So carpet is brand new. Has a $800 alpine stereo with amp.
You can have it for exactly what I owe on it! I don't want a dime. All I want is to drive something I feel safe and trust in. I love jeeps and have owned many and planned on owning many more but this is a discrace!!
Oh, and I even have 7 year " bumper to bumper" warrany to go with it. So you won't have any problems with it ever!!! They will tow you there for free, fix the problem for free and even give you a free rental car!! Until sometthing happens then they tell you that you don't have all that. And all the parts that are broke are the ones with the 1000mile warrany. But they forgot to tell you that part.
So please somene come buy my jeep so I can buy a$2000 truck from the 80's that I trust more!!! Then I can spend all this money on payments on something useful.

Someone's panties are too tight. Sounds like you already have all the fixes to your "trust issues". Tow it for free and let them fix it, don't take it back till its done. There has to be something that can be done to make it right. Everyone else loves their jeep!
I may have helped you just solve the mystery. Fb likes drama and takes all rants freely! Let some steam out. That's where all my friends think life stories go! Hahah good luck man

My 09 unlimited has picked this year to start falling apart as well. Egr valve, craked exhaust manifold, u joint in the front axle, 2nd set of front brakes, back brakes, new battery, rusted door hinges, countless check engine lights, excessive oil usage, and now im starting to hear a whine in the steering. Oh and the muffler will need to be replaced soon all on a jeep with under 50k miles. It has convinced me also to give it up. I may get a diesel grand cherokee but im nervous about it falling apart also. Ive had jeeps my whole life but this one has beat me. Everyday its something new to fix. I hope fiat turns them around. At least they brought back the diesel. Also dealing with jeep customer service and the service staff at white plains jeep is awful. The lady from white plains jeep was essential mocking me because i have 35" tires. She said they were way too be and the jeep could never be alligned correctly(which is something they tried to sell me after telling me the egr valve isnt covered under warranty because i had 40k miles on it.) i loved my wrangler but its crap! I shoulda never sold my cj7
There really isn't any reason these things should be falling apart as described. I've got just about 90k miles on my 2010 with mild trail usage here and there with only minor issues. Sure, I replaced the brakes and I've got a new drag link coming, but nothing else is really "bad" or anything like that.

Ah, no; as usual; Jeep is 4th from the bottom in the latest JD Powers survey:

My 11' JKUR is my first and last "Heep". As long as Heep apologists keep buying the Heeps Heep can keep gouging buyers and doesn't have to improve quality.

I agree the study is probably accurate.
But...!
If something breaks on my jeep I can fix it myself for a reasonable cost.
If something breaks on my 3 year old Porsche, lube up, bend over and get ready to take it in as your not working on anything! Recently had a front airbag suspension piece fail on my turbo.... Oh no problem that will be $8,749.92 for a pinhole leak. 2 days later cel for slow evap leak... New tank evap valve $2179.00...
Need some new ceramic brake rotors? Okay 16k
So a jeep may not be perfect or reliable but it's cheap as all get out to maintain... Plus with a jeep when something breaks you can always fix it with better better stronger parts... Other cars.. Not so much...

I will agree with you they are over priced. Heeps wouldn't be accurate. I have 10 friends that have 2011 and earlier jeeps and they are all good running and reliable.
Anyways, you can find motors and transmissions for next to nothing. Wrecked jeeps are everywhere and the leftover parts aren't very expensive. You either play the game or get out of it. Complaining is not an option!!! Hahah
