If you have a truck stop close by you might be able to find something there. I have seen arm rests that mount the same way, just hang on the door frame. I don't know how much they cost, its been a long time since I have been in a truck stop and seen them.

Can't help you with the door, but on Tuesday I'll have my Rugged Ridge neoprene armrest for the console lid. I can't tell you how happy I am somebody finally came out with something.

Thanks All, I think I got enough info. I will look at the foam one at the nearest truck stop.

Couldn't you just put a maxi-pad on the sill? They already have adhesive strips...

And it would help with the notorious leaky top!

Default Arm rest

I have been using a padded arm-rest from a truck stop that is all black, matching the interior. I have had it since the day I biught the Jeep, it is essential for comfort.

I would love to get the Misch front and rear arm rests. I would probably cover them in leather to hide the "misch" advertising... But I wonder if leather would look out of place. The only thing keeping me from buying them is price. They're 64,95$/pair.

I found this on Amazon, but they also have a website.

It's not a great photo, but so far I really like the product. Not as bulky as some of the others I've seen, and it doesn't attach permanently but it also doesn't go anywhere when you slam the door or drive with the windows down. The fit is really pretty good (much better than my crappy picture indicates).

It seems like the JK window ledge was hitting a nerve in my elbow all the time, and anything lower wasn't going to be useful to me. This one is small but comfortable, and moves around to accomodate different arm positions. Worth the price, in my opinion.

And yes, the wife drives a Honda Element, so no haters!
