Default Arm Rest

Has anybody come up with something clever to rest your left arm on? I need it high--at the window, top of door area not the lower rest area.
Thanks,
John

Default hmmmm

I thought for sure when I first joined here I saw something like that, made by Misch (sp) but I just did about 10 min of searching and could only find the lower one. Sorry man....I too would like something like that as my arm falls asleep on long rides from wedging onto the window sill with the window closed...

These things are great. A little pricey at $20 each but check out their web site at RoadRest.com. They are made very well and the come with double sided tape to mount them, but I just have them sitting on the lip of the door because I didn't want to put the tape on my door. However, when you slam the door, or leave the window down, you can bump them off. My son who was driving behind me on our last ride gave me the passenger one. Now that the Jeep is "Broke in" I'm going to use the tape. I got mine at Cabelas.com, but I'm sure you can get them at lots of places

I got a set of those Misch Armrest Pads. I love them! Couldn't imagine my Jeep without them now! The way they are made, you could easily tap screw into the area right below the window and mount them there too.

i like the misch idea, but i wish they didn't say "MISCH" on the entire top. Anyone covered that up somehow?

I have though about that. A few possibilities.... maybe file it down, its a semi soft foam rubber. The other option is to cover it in leather or fabric or even neoprene. That would be easy and look good.

It really bugs me that they do that in the first place though. Gross marketing of a product. i do like the neoprene idea.
