Default Atf 4 ??

its transfer fluid time and I was wondering which ATF4 fluid everyone has been using ?? . I searched and found an old thread on royal purple and valvoline .. any others?????

okay........ so I went a searchin and there is an amsoil atf and a royal purple MAX atf which are both supposed to be atf4 compatible........ anybody...........

I am just checkin....I can make a call and order the amsoil...or go lookin for the royal purple or i saw a syn quaker state (i dont know about q s ) . I have not spotted the valvoline yet.......

All tranny fluid meeting ATF4 specs have to meet a baseline manufacturing spec to be addressed as ATF4. Engine coolant, motor oil, brake fluid all have baseline specs, if the specs are the same, then the products are mixable or interchangable.

I personally use Amsoil... no problems or anything negative to report.. they ship from PA, so you get it the next day

Mobil Super ATF+4 Any ATF+4 can be used though
