Default Attaching Child car seat

OK, so yesterday I put my 8 week old baby's car seat on the passenger rear seat of the JKU (2013). My wife was driving at slow speed today and the car seat rolled over. Did I do something wrong? Should it only be in the middle? Any help would be appreciated

Your local fire department should be able to help install the child seat. Your dealer may also be able to help out. But yes, something is wrong if the seat rolled over.

Yes something is definitely wrong. I have my 3 month old's rear facing car seat base clipped into the passenger rear using the car seat tie downs at the base of the back support and my 2 year old's front facing car seat clipped into the driver rear and they are solid and not going anywhere. Also this is in my 2013 JKU.

Read through the installation instructions for the car seat or as stated above the local fire dept will be able to help you out.

Yup something is wrong! I prefer my nephew in the middle I feel its safer and when we go doorless I put him in the 5 point chair with the chair hooks that go to the middle of the seat, and I even use the seat belt through the back of the chair so that sucker isn't going anywhere,

Jeepin on a budget!

Rear facing infant car seats are supposed to go in the middle and forward facing driver or passenger side

If you have 2 like me, you cant do middle. Here is a tip though. When tightening the straps (whatever kind) sit all your weight on the seat. Really squash it down in to the bench seat. Then pull tight.

I use the seat belt and the clips on my rear facing and front facing. I am about to have two front facing and one rear facing soon. I will be using the clips and seat belts on all. Yeah I put all my weigh on the seat with my knees then tighten it down. They are all solid, if they were not the wife would not let the boys ride in the Jeep.

Something is definitely wrong. Definitely listen to the rest and get in the seat and use your knees to tighten the seat down.
