Brakes hold sometimes
#2
pretty hard to answer as hanging up to you may not feel like it to others, With disc brakes the pads always are somewhat against the rotor.
I would lift the vehicle off the ground and simply rotate the tires by hand. If a brake is hanging up you should be able to feel the difference.

are you sure this is not the hill hold assist kicking in? I have heard about this same problem before but not sure what year Jeep started using the hill hold assist. Anyone else think it could be that?
People have even said its bad enough where they would stall when they were first trying to pull out because it felt like the brakes were holding them back. If it is the hill hold assist, you can turn it off.

It pops right up on google with "turn HSA off jk" but there's a link below since I couldn't find it in the manual.

It's a nice feature but sometime obtrusive, you've got to learn to time it then tap the gas if you leave it active.
