Automatic transmission overheating redux
I strongly doubt Chrysler will do anything in the OP's case.
Not to sound critical but a change in driving style may be the fix.
A transmission temp gauge is a good idea along with an auxiliary cooler on most anybody's JK.
I'm not saying OP doesn't have an actual problem, like the galleries of his rig's stock cooler may be plugged or something like that. A temp gauge would give the info needed. In that, or similar case, I would hope the dealer figures it out.

Jiblet, the snapshot read my tranny fluid at 202 degrees, which interestingly enough is still within normal. My only guess is in 2009 when they installed the hotoil illumination, they set it to go off if you even get near out of normal. But that is just my speculation. The dealer couldn't tell me what temp it's set to go off. I still have my own researching to do here. In the meantime, I will employ the advice I've gotten here as far as 4lo/OD off, etc.

There are some nice multiple-function gauges out there that plug right into the OBDII port and will read out a lot of the parameters, codes, etc. including the trans temp.
I use an aeroforce interceptor. there are several choices in the market now. good stuff.
After I got the gauge and saw the trans temps, I couldn't get the aux cooler on fast enough.
Only if the transmission fails, and it can be traced to a faulty cooler, or faulty cooler installation. (In a perfect world, anyway.)
