The first time I tried to put mine back, because I'd kept it "folded and tumbled" from day one at the dealer, the hooks would not engage to the floor, and then I couldn't get it to tumble again once I got them to latch. I haven't decided if it's rust or the finish on the new hooks, but I just kept pushing and pulling in different places in the floor hook/latch/whatever area, and it seems to be working every time now, but once a week I change it up. I suspect it needs lubrication, but I can't tell you exactly what I did. Sorry.

The pivot points have paint in them. Force the seat mechanism to move and lube the pivot points with a light oil,(3in 1, etc)

Yeah, I'm guessing it just needs some lubrication and a little more motivation to move forward.

The first time I moved my back seat it got stuck on the driver side seatbelt female end. I was in a hurry and jammed it forward and it shattered the plastic case around the seatbelt part.
