Default Battery going bad?

Let me know what you guys think....

2 days ago a guy came to pick up a car I sold on craigslist and started to get stuck with a rollback. I hooked up the winch and started to pull him out. The winch killed my battery. I jumped the Jeep. The Jeep ran and started fine for the day. Last night I went out late. I was coming down the road past a cornfield that is usually loaded with deer and saw movement. I hit my PIAA's. The check engine light popped on right when I hit the switch, but the jeep ran fine. I got where I was going and back no problem or anything weird with the Jeep. The codes I got were:

P0455 PCM
C2100 ABS
B210D ORC
C2102 SAS
U0121 TIPMCGC
B210D TIPMCGC

All the codes in a single event. I am going down now to replace the battery. The Jeep is an 07 and the battery is original. I have known it was going to be time for a new one... I don't really believe in coincidence and am guessing the battery is on its way out and when I put the strain of the lights on it tripped those codes? I cleared the codes and started. Runs normally and CEL stays off...

Think I am on the right track? I'll check the alternator output after I replace the battery..

I had to replace the original battery on my '08 a couple of months ago. No winch or aux lights on mine.

It appears from other threads that the JK's computer systems can do all kinds of weird things when not recieving enough juice.

I think, hopefully, a new battery should do the trick. It appears you were drawing more than your alternator could at least momentarily ramp up, and the battery was not up to the support.

My stock battery died last month after just over 24 months. No issues since I replaced it.

When I picked up my JK from the dealer I had to get some gas. Pulling out of the pumps I stalled a few times, just getting used to the clutch and such (still embarassing!). Had to run inside the gas station to grab toll money, came out and the Jeep wouldn't start. Had to get a jump and it's been fine since. I figured with the stalls I just drained the battery starting up. No CEL though, but it was a little worrying considering I was literally 100 yds from the dealer.

My stock battery died after 4 months (purchased brand new)....drove to work just fine, came out to leave and would not start. Jumped and as soon as I took the cables off stalled out. I thought for sure it wasnt the battery. Luckly was all under warranty and included no cost to have towed into shop.

My 08 battery died literally 3 years almost to the day I bought it. Stock batteries suck. Went with YellowTop, zero problems so far.

What's the make of the stock battery? Want to check if I'm still riding on it.

I cleared the codes...but the CEL stayed on. I went and got an AGM battery. I installed the battery. I checked the codes again. No codes but CEL still on. I started the truck up and CEL went away
