Battery going bad?
When I picked up my JK from the dealer I had to get some gas. Pulling out of the pumps I stalled a few times, just getting used to the clutch and such (still embarassing!). Had to run inside the gas station to grab toll money, came out and the Jeep wouldn't start. Had to get a jump and it's been fine since. I figured with the stalls I just drained the battery starting up. No CEL though, but it was a little worrying considering I was literally 100 yds from the dealer.
Thanks I'll look into this route if I have any more issues. I am familiar with the "Big Three"(late model corvette) ground mods.. It involves Alternator to ground Battery to ground Alternator to Battery wiring upgrades. I am guessing this is the same thing?

sort of. I think it is engine block to tranny to firewall. Like I mentioned, your dealer has a technical service bulletin on it. It acted just like a bad battery on mine and even fooled one mechanic because the battery wasn't charging properly either. I bought a new Optima and still had trouble before finding this fix!
The "big three" is a good start, and a must for most vehicles, even stock ones. It consists of a larger cable (at least 4 gauge, I like 2 or 1) going from the alternator's output lug to the positive side of the battery. Then ground cables can be routed from the negative side of the battery to the chassis and engine block. Some will take it a bit further by going from the positive lug on the battery to the fuse block. Basically, just replace every stock battery cable with a larger cable, and make sure your connections are tight, clean, and use plenty of dielectric grease and heat shrink tubing. It's not a bad idea to add an inline fuse to the alt-batt cable, just make sure to match the fuse to the alternator's output (pretty sure it's 160 amp output for the JK, so 180-200 amp fuse).
Yeah, definitely the battery as you now know. You got more than your fare share of use from an 07 just like I did. I had to replace mine a couple of months ago. My
