battery question

Default battery question

I have a ? about the stock battery It has a sticker on it that says 10/09 what does it mean . i am thinking of changing the stock battery for a P1 diehard . the factory battery is working fine but i would not want to get stranded and I am wondering how old it is . and if should change it . tks

Date that it left the factory would be my guess.

that was my guess too, but the OP is in a 2008 Jeep and the numbers on the battery are 10/09 so that doesn't make too much sence that is assuming that it's the original stock battery
