Bed liner question
I haven't done it, but let me give you some advice based on my experience with bedliner.
Don't use rattlecan. The two part mixes work much better. On something as visible as your grill, I would have it professionally done. Stick with a big name that warranties the product from UV fade. The gloss probably wont work, I don't think it would stick to the liner, but I could be wrong. Hope it helps.

For the tub, yes, I agree that a that a two part mix is better but you don't need a professional. You just need to prep correctly. We (my wife and I) used Monstaliner in the tub of our YJ several years ago and still looks brand new.
I agree, don't spray clear coat on it.
Eh... my grill has Dupli-Color rattle can bedliner on it. Been on there for 3 years with no fading and still looks great. Same with the pinch seam that runs under the rocker panels.

It'll be fine. If something were to scratch it or whatever, just spray over the spot... do it in multiple light passes. That's the advantage of the rattle can spray.
