bent tie rod

Default bent tie rod

i was doing some wheelin today and all of the sudden i get stuck in this pit full of nasty mud and water was coming in the doors!! eventually after a few hours i had my friend pull me out with the f-250 and i found my tie rod was bent. I can hardly turn my wheel to the right.... anyone know how much this will be to fix... have not seen any after market ones around yet....

This doesn't exactly answer your question, but.............. a stock TJ tie rod is like $150. I would assume a stock JK tie rod is in line with that or maybe a few bucks more.

Rusty's makes a tie rod that goes knuckle to knuckle for the TJ. Now I don't know the length or what rod ends it uses but it may be worth looking into.

one of em should be able to fab one up for you...
rusty's , poison spider.. i'd talk to anyone that has done stuff for the TJ

if you bent your stock one, I say upgrade.
