Curious if anyone has tried and iPhone/iPad off road GPS apps, been looking at a few and am curious if anyone has tried any they consider relatively decent?

Gotta be motionX gps. Been using it for a couple years. Works great. Saves trails. Can import trails from a gpx file so you can pre-plan a trip. Can share with friends via google maps to show where you've been or where the plan is to go. Very neat stuff.

me two got the motionx gps app for my iphone, best $4.00 i ever spent, saves all your trails and everything and you can even veiw it with google earth to see everything, i love it and use it every time i go wheeling

AccuTerra is what I use. I think it was more than four dollars though.

The North face trailhead app is great. The lite version is free and all I need.

I think MotionX is definitely worth the money, works great on iPhone or iPad

Get a Tom Tom mount and you'd be set. It charges the phone and has a external chip that is better than the one in the iPhone. So better when your in th bush.

It works flawlessly for me.
