Bestop bikini top for my 4 dr fits terribly... what to do?!?!
The Bestop bikini top I have for my 09 4 dr fits terribly it is almost as if there is to much material in the top it self. It bunches up around the roll bar and where the roll bar meets the windshield.
Anyone else have this problem?

Do you have the door surrounds? Any pics? I had some fitment issues with my Bestop Safari top, they claimed you could install without door surrounds, but it was a terrible fit. You have to fold over those areas, they're meant for going over existing hardware on a stock soft top setup, but if you're like me I didn't have a soft top standard on mine, it only came with a hardtop. So all that extra material is supposed to fit over that stuff.
The area around the roll bar was the worst, it flapped so bad in the wind, I used a pool noodle to jam inside under the top, just make sure you strap it down or it will come out when you're cruising down the road. That seemed to help a ton.
The front area where it attaches to the windshield was bad too. Here's what I was dealing with...

I had to stick two household door stoppers under the ends to prop up the bar so it sat better, again, the door surrounds helped.

I don't have any useful advice on the Bestop. If you can send it back and get a Siderwebshade do it. Excellent fit, no need for header or door surrounds,no flapping, and you can install your hard or soft top WITHOUT having to remove it. Good luck
I have a Smittybuilt safari top and it fly like shit also. I don't have door surrounds. I got the spiderweb shade also an love it. It don't offer the wet weather protection of the safari top but it helps with shade and wind and makes little noise. If I get door surrounds I will try the safari top again.
I would go with the trektop. It's a full soft top replacement. It's frameless so when you take the windows out you are left with a bikini top. Best of both worlds. I was able to sell my soft top that came with it on Craig's list for $750. The trektop is about 650. Get a new top and put 100 bucks in your pocket! Can't go wrong. Ps... It gives it a much more aggressive look as well. Cheers

Call them and tell them what's going on with it. I ordered windows from them there was way to much material in the back window ( very wavy) I called them and they said keep it and we'll make you a new one free.
Just installed my bestop safari top without door surrounds and had no problems. The header attached to the two brackets to form a nice air tight fit. Straps attached to roll bar and was on the road in less than ten minutes. I was worried about a lot of flapping based on what I have heard but was surprise on how tight and quiet it was. I would make sure you have the right header for your year because I think it varies.
