I have one on a 2011 JKU. It looks great but it's very noisy. I have a stock soft top on my 2013 JKU and it's very quiet. I installed the NX in November and haven't taken it off yet so don't know how easy it is.

I went with the ORH based on more favorable comments and have been happy. All of the soft tops seem to be very hard to install the 1st time and laying it out in the warm sun for a few hours before that install will make the job a bit easier. Once on, the fabric will stretch somewhat and make later installs easier.

I think most people don't even knkw about the original trektop, just the NX. I've had both, the original was horrible. The fastening system at the header bar at sucks and strips out. Also anytime u put it back in safari style with the top open, u have to undo everything, stretch it forward and then refs stem the rear. Much like old jeeps without a frame on top were done. The NX is a much better option if you plan on flipping the roof back plus removing all the panels seperatly makes things easier

I have it and it's alright. However, it is the first soft top I have had so I don't have a lot to base it off of. The rigging system seems unnecessarily complicated but I've had it for three years and no quality issues at all.
