Anybody using the Goodyear Territory from Canadian Tire they go on sale all the time or buy 3 get one free . They look like rebadged duratec , the tred is almost the same and with the Canadian Tire tire insurance, This might be the last tire I buy for the Jeep , any opinion would be greatly appreciated

Haven't used them personnaly but some friends are running them. They are using the same carcass as the Duratracs, different tread.

So you get the same remarks about soft sidewalls. They are as good on road, off road, in snow, a little less on ice. Also they seem to wear a little faster, but in any case at the price they are right now you cannot go bad.

I will sure look at the when time comes to change.

I'm running them this spring. In 285. Best price on anything in that size. Supposedly lasts fairly long as well. I'm just happy that I have 285s that are lighter than my 265s for winter. My coopers were way heavy, and you noticed too.

Thanks for the info so far guys .Now I just have to wait to see if the CT flyer has them on sale (4 for the price of 3) ive seen them in the flyer at least 3-4 times since Christmas. I had the extra tire insurance on the BF Goodrich tires that baught from CT in 2002 on my old 2001 Ford focus Wagon and CT replaced them 4 times in 12 Years no questions asked and all I had to pay for was the balancing and install witch was around $30 per tire plus the the $7 per tire insurance on the each new set. So if the pricing is the same $ 230 per tire for the Jeep the next set of tires in 2-3 years should cost me around $37 per tire installed.

thats the bonus of BFG A/T, they get belt edge depredations and are warranted, bought 1 set from DTC and got next 3 free due to depredations and their certificates for free replacements. Good years don't have that problem.

With my old focus wagon the rear tire tred always wore down uneven so I had to rotate them all the time .With the premature ware of the tires I went back to CT to get a new set . The sales guy told me the manufacturer warranty won't cover the uneven ware but if if had purchased the extra tire warranty it would be covered . So went to the car to check the glove box an luckaly I had purchased it . The only thing I had to pay was the installation and balancing. Here is the trick you need to request the warenty on the
replacement set and pay for that every time you get a new set.
Those tire were like balled on one side and they were covered .The only thing they don't cover is side wall damage.
It may have changed since I last purchased it. I figure with all the extra weight on the rear end of my jeep pulling my utility trailer 300 km north to haliburton every week end my new tires won't last long so it's good to have.

So, If im reading this correctly, I buy the replacement advantage warranty, wear out my tires, come back and I get a new set? only balancing and installation charges?
