This is for all the boarders in the forum. What do you all do to lug your board to the hill other than putting it inside. I've been looking for a rack that I could mount to my hitch but have come up empty handed.

How long is the board? I have a soft set roof straps that hold 2 surf boards for $30 plus shipping if you want them.

Being from Alberta and the mention of a hill, is it safe to assume you mean 'snowboard'? If so, my wife and I have been throwing our boards in board bags, dropping the driverside rear seat and laying them back there.

If you have a hard top, it seems like basic Thule/Yakima racks will fit. I got this thing off criagslist for next to nothing. 58" load bars and generic rain gutter mounts:

I think that both thule and yakima make board carriers for the spare tire.

here is my solution. i used my old yakima snowboard racks and made a tire mount for them. i'm sure it can be cleaned up, but it works just fine and doesn't look that bad once it was painted to match the exterior.

+1 You can buy Burton bags for $29.95 each (free shipping) and they fit over the bindings.
