i dont think a dealer would warranty due to my mods. im purchasing bigger axles to replace mine sometime this month anyways so i wont have to worry anymore

Try and have them warranty it. The worst they can say is no. If they say yes, then you have an axle to sell and offset some of your costs.

Considering the damage was done while wheeling, this is better suited for an insurance claim. Your carrier should cover the damage to the driveline and you'll only have to pay your deductible.

Since nobody answer your question let me see if I can help

From what I read you said it is the tip that comes out the tranny , so the shaft that goes between the tranny and sits in the adapter and connects to the transfer case is still good

no, the shaft that comes out of the transmission and sits inside of the transfer case broke

that shaft in your pic does look like mine but i did not take the trany apart so im not sure if it is just a little piece like that or not. if the shaft your showing is the one that goes between the transfer and tranny then yea its the same one

If it is that shaft easy fix , it cost 36 bucks at the dealer

I can help you better if I got more pics of what's going on
