has any one had a broken shifter, as in the jeep refuses to go in gear?

 

AT or manual?

 

I just had my 2007 do this to me the dealer had to replace the shifter assemblyfor the AT it was stuck in reverse could not start it or get the gear shift to move out of park. If yours is stuck and you have the auto the is a little spot on the shifter near the front passenger corner that you pop out and put a screwdriver in and this will release the shift lock.
