Default Broken Driver's Seat?

Hey all. Tried searching for my issue a bunch yesterday, but didn't have any luck so I figured I'd post a thread. If this has been covered, please forgive me(and link me to the thread!).

My 2016 2-door Sport has the usual issue of the seat lowering when I get in and out from me bumping the height adjustment lever. No big deal, I usually just lift it to the highest position before I get in. Well, yesterday, I forgot to lift it and it was bugging me while I was driving, so at a stop light I tried raising it up while I was sitting in it. It came most of the way up, but on one of the last pulls of the lever, something gave a loud 'POP' inside the seat, and the lever stopped doing anything. Even more frustrating, over the next couple bumps, the rear of the seat bottom lowered to what feels like the lowest setting, but the front stayed at the highest setting, giving my seat bottom a rather extreme tilt. I tried raising and lowering it a few times without my weight on it, but the lever doesn't seem to do anything now. It will let me move it a few times before it hits a "stop", but the seat itself doesn't move.

Is this a broken lever(internally), or did I break something inside my seat? Anybody had this issue?

You must be a little bitty feller, my seat is all the way down and all the way back, I’m not big, 6 ft and about 190 pounds, but I wish mine went back more, without taking the seat out, it would be hard to guess, but probably can find a seat riser from the wrecking yard

If you need to remove the seat get a fine flamed blowtorch and heat the bolts from underneath for two and from above for the two that cannot be found underneath. Just aim the flame at the heads and even the carpet does not burn. Heat only needed for about 30 seconds. This makes the bolts able to be undone by a 3 year old kid. I have removed mine a few times to get under the dash and believe it or not the seat bolts did not come undone with the factory loctite not there anymore.
