Default Bug Stains on Paint/Clear Coat remove?

Sorry if this was covered already tried searching.

I have a Silver JK and Im starting to see yellow-orange bug stains that wont come off. Everything else comes off even if I need to apply a finger nail to help but these bug stains is not coming off at all, any ideas?

I tried the RainX Bug/Tar removing gel but has not helped. Any sure fire ways to get these stains off?

Thanks

Try bounce dryer sheets, I don't know if it will take old ground in ones off, but if you wet one and clean them off it will definately keep you from getting new ones. I've been using them on mine since day one and have no probs at all with bug stains, hope this helps.

Acetone works like a champ and won't hurt the clearcoat.

Clay bar. I use it on my VW once a year and it gets all kinds of junk out of the paint.

Clay bar is good for impurities that get into the paint.....Acetone scares me a little! It's a pretty strong solvent.

I totally agree, use the clay bar luke, use the clay bar. Acetone will definitely cause problems.

Clay bar, but make sure you get a good one and follow the directions. Especially the part about if you drop it on the ground by accident!

Works great, I have no luv bug leftovers, course I bounced them every other day, consistency is the key to keepin the bugs off.

I have the same problem on my silver X. I have tried clay, hand polish, bug and tar remover with no luck. They almost appear as small rust spots on the grill. Any other suggestions?
