Default bumper collision problem

Today I had a minor fender bender... Totally my fault. The car in front of me braked hard (when the light changed) ... it was raining lightly... and when I stomped on the brakes... I slid through that nice fresh mixture of oil and water... right into the car in front of me (even the person I hit noticed the nice, large pretty rainbow colored puddle of oil / water mixture between our vehicles. I was going about 3 - 5 Mph so the damage was VERY minimal....

However, my front bumper got a nice dimple in it.... Luckily, I found another Jeeper selling their new front bumper on craigslist for $80. I bought the bumper about 2hrs after the accident...

However, she left her bumper out in the rain and it was filled with water.... I got most of it out but ... if any one has any advice on how to get it completely dry` (and keep it dry)... please let me know... your help would be greatly appreciated.... Figured that it it would be best to get sound advice before i switch the bumpers.

Thanks in advance to anyone with good advice!!!

May dry out on it's own once mounted if not, drill a couple drain holes discreetly on the bottom. That way if more gets in it will drain back out.

You could probably get your dimple out with a hair dryer and finger. As for the water in the bumper, just drill holes in the bottom or chop the ends off and make a nice stubby

Really not much to the bumper, a piece of plastic exterior and metal bar. Just take it apart and dry it out before installing.

Thanks to all for the advice... added a few weep holes and all the excess water drained out... Reinstalled the new bumper and now I'm back at100% . Again thanks to all for your advice.
