For what I read here and elsewhere about what people did with military trailers, how much they spent and all the flexibility, I will go this route. (the mil trailers route) ;-)

I don't think so. There's almost nothing inside it. Just bed, sofa, table, cupboard.
No stove, frig/icebox, sink/water, heat.
It's pretty much a bare bones unit as far as camping amenities.
And they want $10,000 for it.
There's a review at off-road .com
search for "Jeep Camper Trailer" - you'll get several interesting reports.
You can get fully equipped, off road campers for less.
Check out Tentrax. They start around $3,000
If you've got lots of money:
Adventure Trailers makes three styles - tent types from $7,000 to well over $10,000 and a tear drop starting around $14,000.
But it's REALLY nice.
And then there's Moby1 - they start around $15,000 for their Off Road Expedition tear drop. How rich are you???
There seems to be an even larger market in Australia. If you're downunder, there's lots to choose from.

If you are serious about an off road trailer then as stated Adventure Trailers is the way to go. I owned a Chaser for many years and took it any place the Jeep could go. They had a camper, the best word I can think of, for an Unlimited Jeep which would be what I would love to have had. I don't know if they are making them but if so I would go with it. As for the Jeep trailer it doesn't seem to have the ground clearance for serious off road camping but then again it depends where you want to go.
Go for some sort of camping trailer for your Jeep and get out and enjoy it while we can.

This just caught my eye because there was a story about it on my homepage this am. But 10g's was a shock.
I liked the idea of a compact, simple, CHEAPER, camper-type set-up, but I haven't even looked around. I didn't know they made them this small.

Yeah, not much inside. A bit overpriced, but you can finance along with your Jeep if you want. It can also be color matched. But not much inside, a shame really, it could've been a cool little trailer...

I went this direction for $700, a military M116A2, has basically the same inside, lol just a bed, but a lot less $$$ with room to grow.
